Fenway Park added to National Register of Historic Places
- Fenway Park, the storied, century-old home of the Boston Red Sox, has been added to the National Register of Historic Places, the Massachusetts secretary of state’s office announced today.

Tom and Jean Yawkey have their initials written in Morse Code on the left field scoreboard on the Green Monster. On Sunday afternoons when the team was out of town Tom and Jean would come over to Fenway Park, get the radio, go out to center field, spread a lunch and have a picnic and listen to the game.
